Hilton Tokyo Bay is an 828-room hotel in Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba, and a Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotel, in the hotel’s own words. Before you book, know five things: park tickets sold at the hotel are for guests only and cash only; children 6 and over pay the adult rate on normal plans; the hotel’s pages disagree on whether the indoor pool is free for standard rooms; parking is 4,000 yen a night from October 1, 2026; and a renovation is scheduled for January to March 2027.
It is a different hotel from Hilton Narita. Our Tokyo Disneyland hotels guide compares hotels in the area, and we have single-hotel guides to Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay and the Maihama View Hotel.

Hilton Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Disney Resort: tickets and perks

What does “Official Hotel” mean here?
The hotel’s information page says it is a Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotel. The FAQ names one perk: even when the parks restrict entry, the hotel has tickets that guarantee admission “as an Official Hotel perk.” We did not read Tokyo Disney Resort’s site, so we do not list anything else.
Where and how can I buy park tickets?
The FAQ says the hotel sells Passports only to hotel guests, at a dedicated counter on the 1st floor or at the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center next to JR Maihama Station. The hotel counter sells them from 7:00 to 20:00, and you can buy before check-in time. Voucher exchanges are handled at the hotel from 7:00 to 20:00 and at the Welcome Center from 8:00 to 15:00. For prices, see our Tokyo Disney ticket prices guide.
Do the Disney plans get me in early?
The Disney Christmas plan gives the right to buy a 1-Day Passport for Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea on your check-in or checkout day, and says that ticket lets you enter from park opening time. The ticket price is not included in the plan, the right cannot be waived (you must buy the ticket), and the plan goes on sale two months before the stay date.
What else comes with that plan?
The plan page lists an Official Hotel-only pouch with a window and free parking from 15:00 on check-in day until 30 minutes after checkout. Bookings close three days before the stay. Canceling is free until the day before, and costs 100 percent on the day or for a no-show.
Can the hotel book Disney show restaurants?
No. The FAQ says guests must book show restaurants themselves online in advance, so the hotel does not take those bookings.
What happens at the Welcome Center by Maihama Station?
The hotel runs a service counter in the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center, open 8:00 to 15:00, per the access page. Guests can confirm their booking, check in, and send bags to the hotel free. The FAQ says that if you will be back at the hotel after 17:00, staff complete check-in there and give you the key. Pets cannot come into the Welcome Center.
Rooms at Hilton Tokyo Bay: sizes, bunk beds and views
Which room types are there, and how many people fit?
| Room type (our translation) | Size | Guests |
|---|---|---|
| Hilton Room | 35 to 40 m² | 2 to 4 |
| Deluxe Room (higher floors) | Sea side 40 m², park side 35 m² | 2 to 4 |
| Happy Magic Room | About 35 to 40 m² | 3 to 4 |
| Family Happy Magic Room (bunk beds) | 35 to 40 m² | 5 to 6 |
| Happy Magic Suite | About 70 to 80 m² | 4 to 6 |
| Deluxe Suite | 80 m² | 2 to 5 |
| Executive Room (11th floor) | Sea side 40 m², park side 35 m² | 2 to 4 |
| Executive Select (11th floor) | Sea side 40 m², park side 35 m² | 2 to 4 |
Official room pages, read September 30, 2026. Room names are translated from the Japanese.
Which rooms suit a family of five or six?
The Family Happy Magic Room has bunk beds and sleeps up to 6; the page says the top bunk is for ages 10 and up. The Happy Magic Suite splits into a kids’ room for four and a twin room for the adults. The FAQ says the Happy Magic Suite, Deluxe Suite and Executive Select have a separate bath and toilet, and that beds can be moved in the Hilton, Deluxe, Happy Magic, Executive and Executive Select rooms.
Can I see the parks from my room?
No. The FAQ says the layout of the resort means you cannot see inside the parks. Some plans let you choose a park-side or sea-side room; on other plans the hotel takes it as a request. Executive rooms are on the 11th, the top floor, and the hotel says sea-side rooms there look out over Tokyo Bay.
Who can use the Executive Lounge?
Guests in Executive Rooms and Executive Select rooms, and Hilton Honors Diamond members staying at the hotel, per the plan pages. Access starts after you check in on the day of arrival, and at busy times the hotel limits visits to one hour.
Is Wi-Fi free?
Not for everyone. The room pages say in-room Wi-Fi is paid during your stay and free for Hilton Honors members. The price is not given. Every room has been non-smoking since January 6, 2016, with a 24-hour smoking area on the 1st floor, and there is no large public bath.
Check-in, checkout and late arrival at Hilton Tokyo Bay
What time are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout is by 12:00 noon. The FAQ warns that the front desk is very busy from 15:00 to 17:30, for about an hour after the parks close, and from 11:00 to 12:00, and suggests avoiding those times. A non-stop checkout set up with a credit card skips the desk.
What if I arrive late at night?
The front desk is open 24 hours. The FAQ asks you to call the front desk if you will arrive after midnight.
Can I check in early or check out late?
The official site does not publish an early check-in or late checkout fee. It sells a separate day-use plan, 11:00 to 17:00 with a stay of up to six hours and free parking, but that is a daytime room, not a late checkout. Ask the hotel directly.
Can teenagers stay without a parent?
Yes, with paperwork. The FAQ says that when only guests 17 and under are staying, the hotel asks for a parental consent form for every guest, handed in at check-in.
Canceling a Hilton Tokyo Bay booking
What does it cost to cancel?
The FAQ says that under the hotel’s terms of stay, canceling on the day of arrival costs 100 percent, and so does a no-show. It adds that some plans differ, so read the plan details. For example, the Simple Stay member plan is free to cancel until the day before, with no payment in advance. We could not find the terms of stay on the site, so we do not give fees for earlier dates.
Can I get a refund after the stay, or join a waitlist?
No to both. Hilton Japan’s legal notice says no refunds are given after the stay, and the FAQ says the hotel does not take waitlists. Bullet train packages are changed through their seller, Time Design.
Kids and families at Hilton Tokyo Bay
Do children stay free?
On normal plans, only the youngest. A notice at the top of the official pages says children 6 and over pay the same as adults and should be entered as adults when you book, and that a child who uses their own bed is charged. The FAQ allows one child per bed to share. The Simple Stay plan words it differently: sharing a bed is limited to children below elementary school age, and elementary school children need their own bed. A 6-year-old who has not started school sits between the two wordings, so ask the hotel. Compare other hotels in our kids stay free guide.
What is the plan where older kids stay free?
Room pages advertise free stays and free buffets for elementary school children. That is one special plan, not the normal rule. The plan page covers elementary school children 12 and under: their stay, the breakfast and dinner buffets and parking are free, and the child’s breakfast buffet is free when you book breakfast for the adults. The page itself spells out the difference:
| Normal plans | Kids special plan | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can share a bed free | Preschoolers up to 6 | Elementary school children, 12 and under |
| Room with 4 beds charged as | 4 adults | 2 adults |
Official plan page, read September 30, 2026.
What baby and toddler gear is there?
The FAQ says baby cots are free for babies up to 24 months, in limited numbers, so reserve one. Bed guards are free for ages 18 to 60 months, but the family page says they cannot be fitted to the main beds in the Deluxe, Executive and Executive Select rooms. The hotel has no strollers. Free loans, requested in advance, include a baby bath, a toilet seat for children, a step stool and a humidifier.
What else helps with small children?
Children get a toothbrush, pajamas for heights 120 to 130 cm and slippers (20 cm) free. A lockable nursing room is inside the women’s restroom next to the fitness center on basement 1. The hotel does not provide baby food; bring your own, and the restaurants will warm it.
Is there an extra bed?
The site does not publish an extra-bed option or fee. Rooms are sold by capacity, so book a room type that fits everyone, using the table above.
Breakfast at Hilton Tokyo Bay: prices and hours
How much is the breakfast buffet?
Breakfast is at Forest Garden on the 1st floor, per the breakfast page:
| Age | Price |
|---|---|
| Adults | 4,200 yen |
| Children 6 to 12 | 2,900 yen |
Official breakfast and plan pages, tax and service charge included, read September 30, 2026.
There is no charge if your plan includes breakfast. The page gives no price for children under 6, so ask.
When is it served, and can I book?
From 6:30 to 10:00; the buffet closes at 10:00. The breakfast FAQ says there are no reservations, and that 8:00 to 9:00 is busy, depending on when the parks open. You can add breakfast on the day, or come for breakfast only.
Can the kitchen handle food allergies?
The hotel will send a list of the allergens in the breakfast by fax or post, and you may bring your own ready-made food to heat up. Contact the restaurants before you arrive.
Pool and gym at Hilton Tokyo Bay: who pays
Is the indoor pool free for guests?
Do I need to book the indoor pool?
The family page says pool use is time-limited and by reservation, taken after check-in at the Livista Fitness reception on basement 1, with no phone bookings. The pool is 17 meters with three lanes and 110 to 130 cm deep, and it is closed all day on October 14, 2026 for cleaning and maintenance.
What are the pool rules?
Under-16s must be with an adult 18 or older. Children in diapers wear swim diapers under a swimsuit. Tattoos must be covered with a rash guard or tape. Only floats up to 70 cm and arm bands are allowed, and there is no lifeguard. Caps are required and can be borrowed free; swimsuits rent for a fee.
What are the gym hours?
The facility runs 6:00 to 22:00, last check-in 21:00, use until 21:30. Hotel guests can use the gym area 24 hours. The gym is for ages 16 and up.
Is the outdoor pool open?
Not now. The Garden Pool Restaurant, opened in June 2026, is fully booked in advance, and its 2026 season ended on September 30. Prices vary by period and are on its booking site, which we did not read.
Getting to Hilton Tokyo Bay from stations and airports

How do I get there from Maihama Station?
Maihama Station is on the JR Keiyo and Musashino lines, about 15 minutes by rapid train from Tokyo Station, per the access page. From there you have two routes:
| Route | How long |
|---|---|
| Free hotel shuttle bus from Maihama Station | About 7 min |
| Disney Resort Line from Resort Gateway Station to Bayside Station | About 4 min, then about 1 min on foot or by free bus |
Official access page, read September 30, 2026.
Where does the shuttle leave from?
Leave by the south exit and take the stairs down on the right, or the elevator on the left. Go counterclockwise past the taxi stand; the hotel shuttle stop is halfway around the rotary. The hotel warns the bus may be suspended at some times without notice, and its timetable (in Japanese, English and Chinese) warns of heavy traffic and delays after the parks close.
Is there a bus straight to the parks?
No. The FAQ says there is no direct bus to the parks, only the free bus between the hotel and Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line.
How do I get there from the airports?
Take the limousine bus to hotels via the Tokyo Disney Resort area and get off at “Hilton Tokyo Bay”. Return buses leave from the hotel’s main entrance. Both airports’ services run on a reduced schedule, and the hotel says a reservation is required to ride.
| Airport | Ride | Adult | Child |
|---|---|---|---|
| Haneda | About 60 min | 1,300 yen | 650 yen (ages 6 to 12) |
| Narita | About 90 min | 2,900 yen | 1,450 yen (11 and under) |
Hotel access page, with the fares matching the bus company’s timetables for Haneda and Narita, read September 30, 2026.
On the Haneda bus, preschoolers under 6 who do not use a seat ride free; on the Narita bus, a child rides free only on a lap.
What if I drive?
Leave the Shuto Expressway Bayshore Route at the Kasai or Urayasu ramp. The hotel notes that the Maihama ramp only lets you enter toward Tokyo.

Some plans, including the kids plan, the Disney plan and day use, include free parking.
Luggage and delivery at Hilton Tokyo Bay
Where can I leave bags?
At Lobby Service on the 1st floor. If you arrive at the Welcome Center by Maihama Station between 8:00 and 15:00, guests can leave bags there to be carried to the hotel. It does not take valuables, fragile or precision items, drinks or perishable food.
Can the hotel send bags to the station or the parks?
Can I send luggage ahead or to the airport?
Yes. Address it to Lobby Service, Hilton Tokyo Bay, 1-8 Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba 279-0031, with your stay date and booking name in katakana; the hotel holds it until your stay. Same-day delivery to Haneda is available: ask Lobby Service for details. Shipping home is handled at the courier counter.
Paying and house rules at Hilton Tokyo Bay
How do I pay?
The FAQ asks for cash or a credit card. If you pay cash, the hotel takes the room charge, tax included, at check-in; if by card, you show it at check-in. Some bookings are prepaid by card. The hotel uses dynamic pricing. A Lawson convenience store in the hotel has an ATM.
Is there a price match?
Yes. The FAQ says that if you find a lower qualifying rate on another site, the hotel applies it and takes a further 25 percent off.
Do the staff speak English?
The official Japanese site does not say. The shuttle timetable is printed in Japanese, English and Chinese, and the Hilton Honors app is offered in English only. The hotel links to an English page on hilton.com, which we could not load.
Can I bring a pet?
On one pet plan, in a sea-side 40 m² room, for at least two guests per room. Book by phone and sign a waiver at check-in; do not leave the pet alone. No fee is published.
Which house points surprise foreign guests?
There are no vending machines on guest floors. The hotel can give bandages and antiseptic, and the Lawson on the 1st floor sells some over-the-counter medicine, but no doctor or nurse is on site. A paid coin laundry on basement 1 is open 24 hours.
Hilton Tokyo Bay renovation and closure in early 2027
Who Hilton Tokyo Bay is for

The official rules point to a few kinds of guest. Families of five or six who want one room with bunk beds or a two-room suite. Disney visitors who want tickets that the hotel says guarantee entry, and can pay in cash. It is a harder fit if you expected children 6 and over to stay free on a normal plan, need a firm answer on pool fees before you book, or plan to stay between January and March 2027.
