Two perks are shared by all six and by nobody else — not even the Hilton and Sheraton on the resort loop: Happy Entry (early admission) and the ticket purchase guarantee, which lets guests buy park tickets for every night of their stay even on sold-out dates. In peak season, that guarantee is arguably worth more than the early entry — it's the difference between having a trip and having a hotel room next to a park you can't enter (see our ticket price guide for how fast dates sell).
The budget end: Celebration, honestly assessed
At ¥19,500–47,500 for rooms sleeping four (two beds plus two day beds, 29㎡), Celebration Hotel costs a third of the on-site properties — because it isn't on site. It sits in Shin-Urayasu, about 20 minutes away by free shuttle, with no monorail station, check-out at 11:00 rather than 12:00, the lighter cancellation schedule (¥5,000 day-before vs ¥10,000 at the Deluxe hotels), and Disneyland-only Happy Entry. The honest verdict: it's the right answer for families optimizing for the ticket guarantee and a themed bed — and the wrong answer if "walking back to the hotel mid-afternoon" is part of your plan.
The middle: Ambassador and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel
Ambassador (from ¥49,500) is the value pick among the Deluxe four — Art Deco styling, character rooms, and a non-stop shuttle to both parks. Tokyo Disneyland Hotel (from ¥66,000) buys the single most convenient location in the resort: the official access line is "a one-minute walk" to the Disneyland gate — nap-friendly with small kids in a way no other hotel matches. Both get Disneyland Happy Entry year-round, plus DisneySea only through September 14, 2026 — book after that and the TDS perk is gone, a detail that matters if Fantasy Springs is your goal.
The top end: MiraCosta and Fantasy Springs — one warning each
Toy Story Hotel (Moderate, from ¥73,500) sits oddly in the middle: monorail-station location, guests-only grounds, Disneyland-only Happy Entry — but a special right to use the Fantasy Springs entrance for DisneySea entry from 10:00, which quietly solves the "how do I get into Fantasy Springs" problem for its guests.
Booking mechanics: the 4-month, 11 AM rule
Rooms-only reservations open exactly four months before check-in, at 11:00 AM Japan time, on the official reservation site — English version available, MyDisney account required, maximum five nights and three rooms per booking. MiraCosta and Fantasy Springs release-day sellouts are routine, so convert 11:00 JST to your time zone and be ready. Cancellation at the Deluxe hotels costs ¥10,000 per room the day before, ¥20,000 same-day, ¥30,000 no-show (half that at Toy Story and Celebration).
